Murray calls from another generation to this generation to rediscover the holiness of God. From this consideration stems the call to a Holy Life. This is an easy reading book which will challenge the reader to a deeper life and relationship with God. Biblically based throughout, his foundation is for set for the call to God's children of today to live a holy life. Buy it. It will challenge you.
The information was very good but was overly repetitive. There were way too many run on sentences. If a rewrite is done then I would rate it as excellent.
The flippant manner I can across this book serves as a reminder that God is sovereign over His children. I can only hope (must believe) that God would allow the profound truths that unfold in this book to cultivate divine possession of me. The journey of faith the redeemed are on will be greatly strengthened by this book...Get it.
Enjoyed reading this book. It's full of inspiration and the author is trying convey a message of closeness to our Creator and Saviour. Learned aloft in this book. I only have one thing against this book. It is describing the intimacy and communion with the Spirit of Christ. This author uses the word intercourse instead of intimacy in the spiritual connection between man and his Ceator. I find this very weird and disturbing.

Andrew Murray is one of my spiritual heroes. He had wonderful insight and wisdom on prayer and scripture. Anything he writes is excellent.
In the modern church we have quite left fundamental teachings as captured in this book for “doctrines of men” and this has created severe problems for Christian growth, girth and discipleship. In this book, Andrew Murray explains the call to holiness scripturally creating a thirst for holiness (as intended by God) in the heart of a reader. A must read for every heart aching after God.
